Ophthalmoscope

This beautifully manufactured set comprises of a standard ophthalmoscope and a standard otoscope. Both pieces feature a slim line handle which provides the choice of either a lithium 3.6V or dry cell 2.8v battery. In addition, the ophthalmoscope’s positive maywheel lens control allows the user to click through lens powers from +40D to -25D. Another key feature of this ophthalmoscope is its addition of two diagnostic beams, a wide angle beam for general examination and a macular beam for a more detailed examination of the central retina.

The red free filter which is included can be used with both diagnostic beams for enhanced vessel examination. For comfort and protection, this handy piece of kit boasts an integral soft brow rest, allowing for easy positioning and lens protection if you are a spectacle wearer.

Otoscope:

The flawless attention to detail employed when designing this equipment can be seen in the unobstructed, open style of otoscope’s head, while its large slide aside 2.5x lens ensures maximum visibility during navigation. Included in the pack are a replacement ophthalmoscope and otoscope bulb, a pneumatic testing adaptor, a bulb extractor and four disposable otoscope specula. The set’s hard case and slim line handle give the kit a polished and sleek aesthetic, while ensuring long-term durability.
