The DeVilbiss 5 Litre Oxygen Concentrator intended use is to provide supplemental low flow oxygen therapy for patients suffering from COPD, cardiovascular disease, and lung disorders. The oxygen concentrator is used in home type environments, homes, nursing homes, patient care facilities, etc
Service Life:
The expected service life of the 525 series oxygen concentrator, which includes the performance of any required service or maintenance, is 5 years. The expected service life is based on the operation of the device in accordance with all manufacturer guidance for safe use, maintenance, servicing, storage, shipping, handling, and general operation. The actual service life of the unit, and in particular the service life of certain subcomponents, including the Filters, Sieve Beds and Compressor Cup Seals, will vary based on a number of variables, including the operating environment, storage environment, shipping, handling, performance of preventive maintenance, and both the frequency and intensity of use.
The 525 series oxygen concentrators have internal sensors and diagnostic systems designed to monitor the system performance, including the oxygen concentration (purity), flow and temperature. The 525 concentrators will alert the user when the device requires maintenance or service. Please see the Troubleshooting and Maintenance Sections for more detailed information.
