Transtex™ Evacuation Sheet

The Transtex™ Evacuation sheet is designed to remain underneath the mattress ready for rapid ward evacuation. The sheet is retained under the mattress in a permanently ready state. In an emergency the two 50mm securing straps are withdrawn from their storage packets and tightened around the patient and mattress, cocooning the patient within the mattress forming a protective sledge. In normal use your Transtex™ Evacuation sheet does not require any maintenance.
Periodic inspection is recommended periodically as accidental damage may have occurred.
Attention should be given to stitching, webbing and fabric condition as degradation is
possible over an extended period.
Laundering: Follow standard hospital laundry guidelines HSG (95)18. The use of bleaching
agents should be avoided.
Latex free: Maximum recommended washing temperature 80° C. Drip dry, (if necessary a
low temperature tumble dry may be used).
