Actilite Dressing combines the goodness of both Manuka honey and Manuka oil. Designed especially for granulating or epithelialising wounds, it not only provides antibacterial protection but also fosters the perfect conditions for moist wound healing.

Crafted from a light viscose net material, Actilite Dressing is coated with antibacterial Manuka honey & Manuka oil. This innovative dressing safeguards the wound, facilitates healing, and permits the controlled passage of exudate. The antimicrobial efficacy of Actilite Dressing is elevated by the integration of premium-grade antibacterial Manuka oil with Manuka honey. Extensive in-vitro testing has demonstrated the potent effectiveness of this combination against various major wound-infecting organisms including MRSA, VRE, and Providentia stuartii.

Usage:

1. Remove from the outer packet and peel off the clear films.
2. Apply to the wound with either side up.
3. Cover with a secondary dressing of your choice, such as an absorbent or semi-permeable film dressing. Consider options like Eclypse Adherent or Advazorb Border.
4. Actilite Dressing can also be employed beneath Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) or as a primary layer to diminish bacterial load.

Storage:

Store at room temperature. Due to the nature of honey, it can solidify at cold temperatures become more liquid at warm temperatures. If the product has hardened, warm between hands to soften before use. If the product has become too liquid, place in a colder place such as a fridge for a few minutes.
